My dermatologist has prescribed me a topical steroid cream which did not proved effective for me. I applied it for almost two months and did not find any improvement. Then I asked a person who was in my university and he also had vitiligo about what he used for treating his vitiligo. He told me that his mother suggest him some herbal remedies for treating vitiligo.

What he suggested me that you should eat Indian wormseed and apply its juice on your lesions. The other thing which he suggested me was applying the mixture of black pepper powder and Vaseline on my lesions and then exposing my vitiligo affected area to sun for not more than fifteen minutes.

I have started using these both remedies and I am feeling a kind of re-pigmentation but this treatment looks to be slow. I think that this combination would prove effective for me but it would take a longer time to re-pigment my skin. If anyone of you has used any of the above remedies or any other treatment please give me ideas and suggestion about treating my vitiligo.
